Xinxin.com is a company that provides e-commerce agency operations for international brands. The team is experiencing rapid growth, and in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its founding, decided to organize a corporate field day, looking forward to the Fun Bay can be planned to be full of fun, cohesive centripetal force of the contents of the activities, and let all team members to enjoy the fun of sports together.
Lok Chun Wan Method
Design battle levels to build team bonding-
Xinxin is a young company, with a team of nearly 200 people and an average age of about 28. Therefore, Fun Bay designed six different gateway sessions in the first half of the event, including a dragon boat airboat, fun archery, photo challenge, and grid climbing competition, allowing 12 teams to take on different challenges, and to go head-to-head in a direct battle, not only fighting for physical strength but also for intelligence!
In the section of "The Road to Gethin - Team Formula", we observed that after understanding the rules of the game, Xinxin.com team members would discuss the tactics and optimize the challenge process, from the total length of the planned route to the staffing and positioning, and some teams even succeeded in reversing the situation in the end! In addition to building a tacit understanding of the team, Fun Bay also fully felt the team spirit of Shin Shin's team in pursuit of growth and progress, as well as careful thinking from multiple perspectives.
Teamwork--
In the second half of the activity, Fun Bay designed the Princess Dodgeball Competition. Through the rules of dodgeball, the team was able to utilize their strategic thinking in the process of the game, which successfully facilitated the division of labor and cooperation among team members as well as the cultivation of sports thinking skills. We observed that some of our colleagues who already had experience in American Dodgeball taught their skills to other team members without reservation. This kind of willingness to help integrates personal strengths into teamwork, highlights the unique skills of the members, and effectively promotes intra-team relationships and cooperation. Teams that did not compete were also very serious about cheering for other teams, and the atmosphere was tense, joyful, and lively.
Results and Feedback
"Teamwork is important in the workplace!"
In the final sharing session, one of Xinxin's partners said that at first she was worried that being hit by the dodgeball would hurt, but during the process she realized that it wouldn't at all, and that this gave her the courage to face the challenge because even if she failed (and was hit), it didn't really matter (and it didn't hurt).
Another partner also said, "The court is like a workplace, teamwork is important". She was originally responsible for passing the ball to her teammates inside the court, but in the last game, the team decided to let her play as they believed she could successfully avoid the attack. At the end of the day, all of us thanked the team members for their trust, and we all commented that we had seen the faces of our colleagues outside of work, and that the activity was more fun than we had imagined. In this way, Fun Bay helped Shin Shin's team to experience an enjoyable and fulfilling Team Building activity.
