2025 Wolenso North, Central, and South × ESG Sustainability Initiative
In the spring sea breeze, HOLLISOL once again called on our colleagues to go into the nature and fulfill our corporate commitment to the environment. This is not only an activity of picking up the sea waste, but also integrates the team spirit and environmental protection knowledge. 2025 HOLLISOL Corporate Beach Cleaning Activity started in Chiayi Ao Gu Wetland.
Responding to the Environment with Action
A total of 37 interdepartmental partners from Kaohsiung and Tainan were gathered to work together on this project, all of whom are the guardians of this coast. The moment they stepped into Ao Ku Wetland, the air seemed to be infused with the energy of "Let's make a difference together". The facilitator opened the event with a humorous and energetic speech, guiding the partners to understand the real meaning behind cleaning the beach - it is not just about cleaning up and recording, but it is also the beginning of understanding the concept and taking responsibility.
Upon entering the official mission, the teams were quickly brought into the situation--
Clippers and gloves in hand, the figures on the beach carefully sorted cigarette butts, bottle caps, and broken plastic into garbage bags one by one. With the introduction of ICC record sheets, this activity was not just about cleaning up, but also about identifying the sources and types of marine waste, which led to a heated discussion: "Can our company reduce the use of disposable packaging materials? or "Can we promote sustainability education internally?

In addition to scavenging, the event also incorporated two fun competitions:
Fish Education Knowledge Challenge
Incorporating the concept of ocean sustainability into the team challenge, each team had to judge the consumption recommendations based on the fish cards, from "recommended" to "should be avoided", which not only strengthened the memory, but also triggered a heated discussion on the topic of "sustainable oceans" among the partners.Guess the weight.
Each group is required to predict the total weight of their beach results, testing observation and judgment, and giving the team a greater sense of accomplishment in seeing their own tangible contributions.
Environmental sustainability is never a numbers race, it is a change of life!
A corporate action with warmth and power
During the final reflection and feedback time, partners shared their observations and feelings of the day:
"The process of bending down and picking up garbage with my partner was more emotional than I imagined, and I felt that I was really doing something for the environment."
