Customer Needs

The clients of this event are church friends from all over Taiwan who share the same faith but are not yet acquainted with each other. Through this event, we hope that participants can successfully break the ice, increase mutual communication and trust, and build up team spirit. The theme of the event revolved around "What each person has to do in this life", hoping to guide participants to think and share how to utilize their time, energy and resources to accomplish their respective missions.

Event Design - Core Value Delivery

To echo with the theme and objectives of the client's expectations, Fun Bay has adopted the orienteering activity as the main program, in which five levels are designed to symbolize the different stages of life. The design of each level not only simulates different challenges in life, participants not only need to solve the problems with their brains, but also need to work together to realize the sweet and sour of life. For example, in the "Parenting" section, members of the activity design team watched a family drama performed by the main character and re-enacted it for their teammates to guess the plot of the drama. Participants felt the importance of understanding each other's feelings in a team, thus enhancing the team's tacit understanding and empathy.

Team strategy analysis -

Orienteering is not only a sport that tests physical and mental ability, but also helps the team to communicate and examine the current problems. Members need to utilize maps and guides to make a comprehensive assessment based on the time of the challenge and the physical fitness of the members, and on the way, they also need to find the checkpoints set at different landmarks, each of which has clues or designated tasks to test the team's strategic planning ability.

During the program, it was observed that the church partners planned their time before the trip, setting up a few minutes to get to the designated spot. The members divided up the work among themselves and assigned a route to explore the site. During the side quests, they discussed whether to join the challenge or not, so that they could spend more time collecting checkpoints. Race against the clock and show off your team's characteristics.

Reflection Sessions -

In the final session, members shared with the audience, "What would you like to do if your life is about to end in a week? Partners opened their hearts and shared their wishes of spending time with their families and traveling alone, and from the activity, they felt that time is limited, life is limited, and the most important thing is to communicate effectively with the team and work hard to move forward to the goal together with partners.

Results and Feedback

During the event, Fun Bay succeeded in turning participants who were strangers to each other into intimate partners, and built up a deep sense of trust among the team in the midst of a variety of challenges. We are all very happy to see that our partners have changed from strangers to familiarizers, and have gained a clearer understanding of the core values of the team and the power of teamwork. We look forward to continuing to provide meaningful activities for more teams, so that every partner can find their own values in the activities.
